Falling Into Poetry

October 10 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT

Step into the rich imagery of the season in this inspiring fall poetry workshop. Explore poems and writing prompts centered on autumn’s beauty, from vibrant color and crisp air to the quiet transformation of letting go. Through guided exercises, discussion, and creative reflection, participants will craft original poems that capture the shifting energy of the season and their own personal responses to change. This workshop is perfect for writers of all levels who want to deepen their poetic voice and celebrate the beauty of transition.

Facilitator:
Theresa Henson is a poet, sculptor, and pianist whose work explores the intersections of sound, form, and language. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned her MFA, Henson’s practice bridges disciplines to evoke the rhythms of landscape and memory. Her poetry often mirrors the tactile qualities of her sculptural work, while her compositions draw inspiration from natural patterns and silence. She lives and works in the Clearwater Valley, Idaho, where the surrounding wilderness continues to shape her creative vision. She is a co-founder of River Arts.

FREE ~ Open to anyone with a heart for writing.

Please RSVP. If your plans change after registering, please let us know if you cannot attend so we may offer the space to another.
