Drawing Portraits ~ 6 Class Series

Local artist Veronica Hattrup will guide in this four-class exploration of drawing portraits. This class takes place 10 a.m. to noon April 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 9, and 16.

In this class you will learn how to construct a face in relationship to features and then move to shading, taking the technical and shading it into three-dimensions. You will learn how to bring as much realism to the human face as possible.

All levels welcome. Ages 12 and up.

NOTE: Please bring a high quality photo of someone you would like to draw.

Veronica Hattrup is a local artist and member of the Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA). She showed her work at the CIAA BBQ Days Show at River Arts, including the portrait above of her niece. She is inspired by her family and the grace of daily life.
