DESCRIPTION:This is an ongoing group that meets every two weeks 1-3 p.m. Saturdays. \nTogether\, we explore The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron\, a program designed to help people overcome creative blocks and reconnect with their inner artist through a series of readings\, exercises\, and tools like “Morning Pages” (three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing) and “Artist Dates” (solo creative outings).  \nWe also explore self-expression through Sanity Journaling\, a creative practice developed and refined by Alina Bettancourt over many years. This class invites participants to explore their inner world through artful journaling—combining words\, images\, and color to create a deeply personal reflection of life\, dreams\, and emotions. \nThere is no right or wrong way to do this. Each page becomes a space for authenticity\, play\, and self-discovery. Whether the process feels lighthearted or profound\, every mark and collage piece contributes to a unique story—your own. \nParticipants will experiment with a variety of materials\, including magazine cut-outs\, paint\, markers\, pencils\, and pens. The journal can hold affirmations\, meaningful quotes\, personal insights\, memories\, or simply serve as a creative playground for new artistic techniques. \nThis is a space free of judgment and full of encouragement. SUMMARY:Kamiah Concerts in the Park: Aaron Ball Band
DESCRIPTION:Aaron Ball Band is an international touring and award winning group. Their music is full of passion\, dry wit and storytelling through Americana\, Southern Rock\, and Alternative Country styles. \nThe band\, led by Aaron Ball\, has performed extensively across the USA and internationally\, including tours in Australia\, New Zealand\, Brazil\, Canada\, Mexico\, Japan\, and 14 Caribbean countries with Carnival Cruise Lines. \nThe Aaron Ball Band has garnered numerous accolades over the years. Their song “Omaha” received recognition at the Academia Music Awards in Los Angeles in 2017. In 2023\, the band was inducted into the Academia Hall of Fame. That same year\, Jared Smith was nominated for the Josie Music Award’s Musician of the Year\, and the band received nine nominations from the NW Country Music Award Association. \nAlso since the start\, Aaron Ball Band has been able to perform for  fundraisers and benefits to try and make their community and the world a better place. A few of these include the Idaho Foodbank Music Festival and the American Cancer Society Concerts. \nAaron\, alongside bandmates Dave Bowman on keyboards and Jared Smith on drums\, has built a reputation as a high-energy crowd-pleaser. They have shared the stage with top rock and country artists such as Daughtry\,  Jelly Roll\, Andy Grammer\, Shinedown\, Rob Thomas\, Shane Smith and the Saints\, William Clark Green\, The Wilder Blue\, The Band Perry\, Train\, Sick Puppies\, Them Dirty Roses\, Redferrin\, Great White\, Nick Jonas\, Mat Kearney\, Echosmith\, Granger Smith\, and Smash Mouth. \n  \nPlus art activities and food vendors.

This amazing creation never ceases to astound her and she spends time photographing\, sketching\, and painting the beauty. \nShe has worked as a fire lookout in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California\, a lifeguard\, a trail guide for a state park\, a folk singer in a restaurant\, motel maid\, swim instructor\, elementary school teacher in Hawaii and Oregon\, organic farmer in Hawaii\, and as a writer and illustrator of children’s books and other publications. This amazing creation never ceases to astound her and she spends time photographing\, sketching\, and painting the beauty. \nShe has worked as a fire lookout in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California\, a lifeguard\, a trail guide for a state park\, a folk singer in a restaurant\, motel maid\, swim instructor\, elementary school teacher in Hawaii and Oregon\, organic farmer in Hawaii\, and as a writer and illustrator of children’s books and other publications. DESCRIPTION:This is an ongoing group that meets every two weeks 1-3 p.m. Saturdays. \nTogether\, we explore The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron\, a program designed to help people overcome creative blocks and reconnect with their inner artist through a series of readings\, exercises\, and tools like “Morning Pages” (three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing) and “Artist Dates” (solo creative outings).  \nWe also explore self-expression through Sanity Journaling\, a creative practice developed and refined by Alina Bettancourt over many years. This class invites participants to explore their inner world through artful journaling—combining words\, images\, and color to create a deeply personal reflection of life\, dreams\, and emotions. \nThere is no right or wrong way to do this. Each page becomes a space for authenticity\, play\, and self-discovery.
